Suitable for secondary education. This program explores two fundamental uses of masks as a supplement and complement to Mime technique. One set of exercises explores the use of "neutral mask" to teach students to learn to express emotions through posture and gesture, without reliance on facial expression. Other exercises explore the use of masks as a way of inhabiting alternative identities, whether animal, or human. The program features dozens of colourful masks in a wide range of styles, from the subtle to the outlandish.
