Performance by the Juilliard String Quartet, on the 25th anniversary (1972) of the founding of the famous quartet. Members of the quartet comment on the music and illustrate various string techniques.
Juilliard String Quartet: Claus Adam, Robert Mann, Earl Carlyss, Samuel Rhodes. Pieces performed include work by Haydn (creator of string quartets) "Opus 77 No. 1" (2nd movement), Bartok "Quartet" (Prestissimo Concertino), Bartok " Quartet" (4th Movement, Pizzicato), Stravinsky "Portrait of a French Mime", Beethoven "Quartet opus 127 in E Flat".

Ivan has been a founding member of American Radio Theater since it began in 2005. He has been a board member, actor and director at ART. Ivan Cury was a professor in the Communication Department of California State University, Los Angeles, where he has taught for fifteen years. He was a producer and director of commercials, sitcoms, variety shows, documentaries, and daytime dramas such as The Young and the Restless. He served as a judge for the Emmy's ACE and for the DGA awards. Before joining the department at Cal State, he taught for eleven years in the MPTV department at UCLA.
