The APA theater company, ("Association of Producing Artists") under the direction of the group's founder Ellis Rabb, performs scenes from material in their repertory.

Footage includes an interview with Ellis Rabb on the work and aesthetic of the APA, Broadway and off-Broadway funding, and the New York location of APA (for contacts and audience).

Scenes performed are from Sheridan's "A School for Scandal", Chekhov's "The Seagull," and George M. Cohan's "The Tavern."
