Rhythm is the heartbeat of music. Jazz percussionist Max Roach shows children how to identify some of the most common rhythms in music and how different rhythmic patterns can be layered to create a composition. Your students explore these rhythmic concepts in a variety of in-class activities. Behind the Scenes is an exciting and fun exploration for children and adults alike into the world of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, music, dance and theater. Produced & Directed by Ellen Hovde and Muffie Meyer. Hosted by Penn and Teller.
