A day in the life of Tachibana Taiki, most powerful Zen priest in Japan, called "the great turtle priest", Chief Abbot of the Imperial Daitokuji Temple in Kyoto. Filmed entirely in Japan. The Abbot discusses his opinion of "bogus zen" and addresses the ancient question "after satori (enlightenment), what?" He is seen meditating, conducting services at the temple, speaking on wealth and poverty with businessmen for whom this is a matter of personal conscience, working in his garden, etc.
